By creating an account or using Exceptionerror you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account; please give accurate details.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store, display and deliver it as part of running the site — including to anyone who can see it under the privacy settings you chose (public groups and public profiles are visible to everyone). Only post things you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Do not post or do anything that:

• is illegal, or sexually exploits or endangers children;
• harasses, threatens, doxxes or impersonates others, or promotes violence or hatred;
• infringes someone’s copyright or other rights;
• is spam, a scam or malware, or tries to break, overload or scrape the site or other people’s accounts.

Messages

These rules apply to private messages too. If someone reports a message, an administrator may read it and a few messages before it. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted (see the privacy policy).

Moderation

Anyone signed in can report a post, comment or message. Administrators review reports and may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. Group owners may also set their own rules and remove members.

Ads and sponsored posts

The site may show advertising and “Sponsored” posts. They are labelled, and we are not responsible for what advertisers offer.

No warranty and limits

The site is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may change these terms; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
